Homeless Outreach Worker - Full-time position in Merrimack County for outreach to street homeless individuals/families. Must be self-motivated, capable effective time management and productive independent work with minimum supervision. Must be able to work effectively and timely with multiple service agencies to assist clients. Must be able to quickly assess homeless situation needs and provide referral to appropriate shelter and other resources to relieve homeless situation. Work or personal experience with the homeless and low-income individuals a must. Outside work in all weather conditions necessary. Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to relate to all socio-economic groups. Education and/or experience in human services. TEFAP Program Coordinator - Full-time position in Concord responsible for assisting with the administration and management of a statewide commodity food distribution program. Responsible for coordinating food distribution efforts including shipping, receiving, warehousing and inventory management. Requires good communication, organizational and computer skills. Mid-State Regional Mobility Manager - Community Action Program-Belknap-Merrimack Counties, Inc. in Concord is seeking a Full-time Mid-State Regional Mobility Manager who is skilled in marketing/advertising/recruitment in the human service sector. You will collaborate on initiatives that enhance transportation options in Region 3: Belknap, Merrimack (excluding Hooksett) Hillsborough counties and the town of Deering. You will facilitate coordinated services, engage stakeholders and educate the public as you serve as the liaison to state and local transit groups. You must be comfortable with small and large group presentations, developing and planning activities that engage the partnership both locally and statewide. Bachelor Degree with three to five years’ experience. Transportation experience helpful but not necessary. You must be skilled with Microsoft Office suite, ability to communicate effectively, facilitate groups and work independently. Requirements: valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance. Volunteer Driver Program Coordinator - Part-time (20 hrs/wk). Responsible for operating and maintaining a Volunteer Driver Program in Belknap and Merrimack Counties. Recruits, trains and supervises volunteer drivers. Enforces regulations and procedures associated with the vehicle of driver, driver and passenger safety. Bachelor’s degree preferred with a focus in human services, public relations or transportation. Experience working with older adults and/or adults with disabilities. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks at the same time, network with a variety of organizations and committees, work effectively with diverse groups. Excellent communication, public speaking, writing and computer skills a must. Satisfactory completion of criminal and motor vehicle record checks. Salary range $15.00 to $18.00/hour with no health benefits. Requires valid driver’s license and meeting agency insurance requirements.
